Mount Farm is a quiet and comfortable bed and breakfast housed in a 15th Century farm house. Nestled in the quiet village of Ratley we are located on the edge of the Cotswolds and the county borders of Warwickshire and Oxfordshire. We are also close to the market town of Banbury and with both Stratford upon Avon and Warwick being within easy reach.

Sleeping up to 6 people in a Superking size room with views over the Castle Mound and a Family Suite with twin and Kingsize double, there is also a guest lounge complete with log burner, flagstone floors and low ceilings.

Warm in Winter, cool in Summer.

Dogs and children welcome.

OUR ROOMS

In total we are able to accommodate 6 people in a Superking size room, with views over the Castle Mound and a Family Suite combining a twin and Kingsize double.

BREAKFAST

Fresh fruit salad awaits along with a selection of cereals then a traditional farmhouse plate full of flavour
Succulent sausages made from our rare breed Tamworth pigs here on the farm
Traditionally cured bacon from our happy outdoor reared pigs
Newly laid eggs from our hens – your eggs could be from Light Sussex or Maran hens
In season we have home grown tomatoes and occasionally  mushrooms from our fields
Bread is baked freshly every morning featuring locally milled Cotswold flour.
All our preserves are homemade and often feature fruit from our walled garden or the hedgerows around the farm.
Breakfast is served around a large farmhouse table.

SUPPER

Evening meals are available, by prior arrangement.

We like to show case some of our wonderful meat produced on the farm.
In the colder months braised beef or casseroles feature and one of our favourites in the autumn is roasted belly pork on a bed of apples from our orchard.
In the summer we enjoy salads featuring cold roast beef or our home cured cooked ham.
Desserts vary with the season and starters often feature soups and pates there is quite a fan club for our minestrone soup …

We do not have a license so 'bring your own bottle' is very important ! Vegetarians can readily be catered for too !
